HRGO Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a well-established metal processing and recycling company for full-time Metals & Alloys Sorters. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with relevant industry experience and a strong background in the identification, sorting and grading of metals and revert materials.

- Accurately sort and grade incoming revert materials using XRF analysers
- Ensure materials are correctly segregated by alloy type, quality and intended end use
- Identify, assess and report contamination within materials
- Identify foreign attachments, coatings, inserts, tips and repair welds
- Maintain strict controls to prevent cross-contaminationAccurately record and report sorting findings using internal systems
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Work closely with the production team
- Report directly to the Production Manager
- Follow all health, safety and environmental procedures
- Minimum 2 years' experience sorting and grading metals within the scrap or revert industry
- Good understanding of different materials and end-user requirements
- Proven ability to recognise and differentiate a wide range of high-performance alloys
- Strong understanding of quality requirements and contamination risks
- Experience working with high-specification sectors such as aerospace, defence, medical or energy is desirable
- Competent in the use of handheld XRF analysers - essential
- Strong written communication and organisational skills
- Strong IT skills and ability to maintain accurate records
- Able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, accurate and safety-conscious approach to work
