Metal Polisher - Braintree - Day Shift - Full Time - £15 per hour

We are currently recruiting for a Metal Finisherto join a well-established catering equipment manufacturer based in Braintree. This is a full time opportunity offering £15 per hour.

This role would suit an experienced Metal Polisher with a background in stainless-steel polishing and fettling, who is confident using a range of hand and power tools.

About the role

As a Metal Finisher, you will be responsible for fettling, preparing and polishing stainless-steel components used within bespoke catering equipment. You will work within a busy workshop environment, ensuring components are finished to a high standard and ready for the next stage of production.

Polishing & Fettling Bias

Polishing stainless-steel components to a high-quality finish Carrying out fettling and preparation of metalwork Using hand and power tools safely and effectively Removing imperfections, sharp edges and excess material Preparing components for finishing and assembly Working to required quality standards Maintaining a clean and organised workshop area Following all relevant health & safety proceduresThe Ideal Candidate

Previous experience as a Metal Finisher Strong stainless-steel polishing experience Proven fettling experience Confident using hand and power tools Good attention to detail and pride in your workmanship Able to work accurately within a busy manufacturing environment Reliable, hardworking and self-motivated Good understanding of workshop health & safetyDesirable (for top salary bracket):

Experience polishing bespoke stainless-steel catering equipment Previous experience within a metal fabrication or manufacturing environment Experience working to a high cosmetic finishWhat's On Offer
