Mid-Level Production Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Mid-Level Production Engineer to join their onshore operations team in Derby . This role is focused on maximizing hydrocarbon production, optimizing well performance, and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of production facilities. You will be involved in analyzing production data, identifying opportunities for improvement, and implementing solutions to enhance recovery rates. Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze production performance from wells and facilities to identify optimization opportunities.
• Develop and implement strategies for artificial lift systems, well stimulation, and flow assurance.
• Troubleshoot production-related issues and implement timely and effective solutions.
• Collaborate with reservoir engineers to align production plans with reservoir management objectives.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations related to production operations.
• Prepare production forecasts and reports for management and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 3-5 years of experience in oil and gas production engineering .
• Strong understanding of production equipment, artificial lift methods, and flow assurance principles.
• Proficiency in production data analysis and relevant software tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a field-based or office environment in Derby .
