Mid to Senior Lawyer – Leveraged Finance – In House

We're looking for a mid to senior Leveraged Finance lawyer to join our client, a leading global investment and advisory firm, to support them for 12 months.

This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a high-impact role within a lean and highly regarded team, working at the forefront of leveraged finance and private credit transactions.

The Role

You will play a key role in supporting complex financing and investment activity, with responsibility for:

• Leading leveraged finance and private credit transactions end-to-end
• Acting as the primary legal advisor on high-yield and structured finance matters
• Supporting investments across a range of asset classes, including private credit, real estate, and private equity
• Managing transactions from origination through to execution
• Working closely with deal teams, investment professionals, and senior stakeholders

About You

• Mid to senior lawyer with a strong leveraged finance background
• Experience in private credit and/or high-yield transactions preferred
• Comfortable leading complex transactions independently
• Collaborative, commercially minded, and able to thrive in a lean team environment

Working Pattern

• Full-time (5 days per week)
• Hybrid: ideally 3 or 4 days in the office in London

Timing

• Start: June/July
• Duration: 12 months
