Mine Operations Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Mine Operations Manager to oversee the efficient and safe operation of their mining facilities near Coventry . This role requires a leader capable of managing all aspects of mine production, including planning, execution, and continuous improvement initiatives. You will work closely with site supervisors, engineers, and safety officers to ensure operational targets are met while upholding the highest standards of safety and environmental compliance. This hybrid position offers a blend of on-site operational leadership and remote strategic planning, ideal for someone who understands the intricacies of mine management.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and manage all daily mine operations, including drilling, blasting, loading, and hauling activities.
• Develop and implement operational plans to achieve production targets safely and cost-effectively.
• Oversee the maintenance and effective utilization of mining equipment and machinery.
• Ensure strict adherence to all health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
• Manage operational budgets, control costs, and identify opportunities for process optimization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Mineral Processing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mine operations management, with a proven track record of leadership.
• In-depth knowledge of underground or open-pit mining methods and equipment.
