About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and manage all aspects of mine operations, including production, maintenance, and health and safety.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to meet production targets and improve efficiency.
• Ensure strict adherence to all safety regulations, environmental policies, and legal requirements.
• Manage budgets, control costs, and optimize resource allocation.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of mining professionals and operational staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Mineral Processing, or a related field.
• A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in mine operations, with at least 5 years in a management role.
• Proven experience in managing large-scale underground or open-pit mining operations.
• Strong knowledge of mining equipment, techniques, and safety protocols.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and excellent stakeholder management skills in Birmingham .
