About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated and experienced Mine Operations Supervisor to oversee daily activities at their site near Portsmouth . This hands-on role requires strong leadership skills to manage a diverse workforce, ensure adherence to safety protocols, and achieve production targets. You will be responsible for the efficient execution of mining tasks, equipment operation, and team supervision, ensuring a safe and productive working environment. This is a critical role within the operational structure, offering a chance to make a tangible difference in day-to-day mining activities in Hampshire , working closely with engineers and management.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of mining crews, including operators, tradespeople, and labourers.
• Ensure all operations are conducted in strict accordance with health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Monitor production performance against targets and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Oversee the safe operation and routine maintenance of mining equipment.
• Conduct daily safety briefings and toolbox talks with team members.
• Report on operational progress, incidents, and resource utilization to management.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within the mining industry.
• Strong understanding of mining methods, equipment, and safety procedures.
