About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct feasibility studies and economic evaluations for new mining projects and optimization initiatives.
• Collaborate with geotechnical engineers, survey teams, and production personnel to ensure plans are technically sound and executable.
• Monitor mine performance against plan, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensure all mine planning activities comply with safety regulations, environmental policies, and best practices within a remote operational framework.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mine planning and design, preferably in open-pit or underground mining operations.
• Proficiency with industry-standard mine planning and modeling software.
• Strong understanding of mining methods, equipment capabilities, and operational constraints.
