Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrated mine plans, including strategic, tactical, and operational levels.
• Utilize mine planning software (e.g., Deswik, Vulcan, MineSight) to generate designs, schedules, and cut-off grade studies.
• Conduct geological and operational data analysis to inform planning decisions and optimize extraction sequences.
• Perform economic evaluations of different mining scenarios and scenarios.
• Collaborate with geologists, engineers, and operations personnel to ensure plans are feasible and align with company objectives.
• Prepare technical documentation and presentations for mine planning reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in mine planning, with a strong focus on technical design and scheduling.
• Expert proficiency in industry-standard mine planning and design software.
• Solid understanding of mining methods, economics, and geotechnical principles.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
