About the Role

Our client is seeking a precise and detail-oriented Mine Surveyor to join their operations near Oxford . This role is essential for accurately mapping and measuring the underground or surface workings of mines, ensuring that operations adhere to planned designs and safety regulations. You will be responsible for utilising advanced surveying equipment and techniques to provide critical data for mine planning, production, and engineering. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct accurate underground and surface surveys using modern surveying equipment (e.g., total stations, GPS, laser scanners).
• Establish and maintain control networks for mining operations.
• Prepare and interpret survey plans, cross-sections, and contour maps.
• Monitor and record mine development, stope progress, and material movement.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant surveying standards and regulations in mining .

Requirements

• Relevant qualification or certification in Surveying or Geomatics.
• Proven experience as a Mine Surveyor or in a similar surveying role.
• Proficiency with surveying software and data processing tools.
• Understanding of geological formations and mining methods.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work effectively on-site.
