Key Responsibilities

• Conduct precise underground and surface surveys to establish mine boundaries, workings, and features.
• Use advanced surveying instruments, including total stations, GPS, and laser scanners, for data acquisition.
• Prepare accurate mine survey plans , cross-sections, and volumetric calculations.
• Monitor and record mine development progress and ensure operations align with approved plans.
• Liaise with mine engineers and geologists to provide necessary survey data for planning and operational adjustments.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant surveying standards and regulations.

Requirements

• Qualification in Surveying or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Mine Surveyor , with experience in underground environments.
• Proficiency with modern surveying software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, specialised mining software).
• Experience operating and maintaining surveying equipment.
• Strong understanding of geodetic principles and mine surveying practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data recording and reporting.
