Key Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise daily mining activities, ensuring work is performed safely and efficiently.
• Monitor site conditions and implement corrective actions as needed to maintain safety and productivity.
• Manage a team of miners and operators, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
• Ensure all personnel adhere to company policies, safety regulations, and operational procedures.
• Coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams to ensure equipment availability and functionality.
• Maintain accurate records of production, safety incidents, and team activities.

Requirements

• Proven experience in mining operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Solid understanding of mining techniques, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements in the UK.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and manage a diverse workforce.
• Proficiency in problem-solving and decision-making in a fast-paced operational setting.
