Salary: £37,000 - £40,000 Basic + Overtime (OTE £43,000 - £50,000+)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00

The Opportunity

A leading specialist in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration services is looking to recruit an experienced Mobile Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineer to join their growing engineering team.

With over 40 years of industry success, the business provides installation, maintenance, servicing and breakdown support to a wide range of commercial clients across the UK. Due to continued growth and the award of several new contracts, they are now seeking an additional field-based engineer to cover Northamptonshire and the surrounding region.

The Role

As a Mobile Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, fault-finding and repairing a variety of commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems across customer sites.

Your duties will include:

Reactive breakdown response and fault diagnosis Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) Installation and commissioning of HVAC equipment Electrical and mechanical fault finding Working on VRV, VRF, Split Systems, Multi-Splits, Chillers and Cold Rooms Leak detection, repairs and system testing Completing service reports and maintenance documentation Delivering excellent customer service on-site Ensuring compliance with all health and safety requirements

Essential Requirements

Proven experience working on Air Conditioning and/or Refrigeration systems Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding ability Full UK Driving Licence Excellent customer-facing skills Ability to work independently and manage your own workload Desirable Qualifications & Experience

NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Previous experience in a field service role IPAF, PASMA or CSCS accreditation Experience with manufacturers such as Daikin, Mitsubishi, LG, Panasonic or Fujitsu
