Mobile Forklift Engineer - Cumbernauld

Job Title: Mobile Forklift Engineer Salary: £40,000-£45,000 Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm (40hrs) Location: Cumbernauld and surrounding areas

We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Mobile Forklift Engineer to join a well-established and employee-focused material handling company based in Cumbernauld. Due to continued growth and an expanding workload, they are looking to add another engineer to their team.

Key Responsibilities

Performing servicing, maintenance and repair work on a wide range of forklift trucks and material handling equipment Attending breakdowns and carrying out reactive maintenance Diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults Completing safety checks and pre-delivery inspections (PDI) Organising and managing your own workload effectively Accurately completing job sheets, service reports and compliance documentation Liaising with parts departments to source required components What We’re Looking For Minimum 3 years’ experience working as a Forklift Engineer Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule A professional, reliable and customer-focused approach Experience with electrics and hydraulics Knowledge of LOLER inspections Technical qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ) (desirable) Full UK driving licence Package & Benefits Basic Salary: £40,000- £45,000 Company Van & Fuel Card provided with personal use of the van Holiday: 25 days + bank holidays Pension Scheme Overtime opportunities available
