Mobile HGV / PSV Technician - UK-Wide Travel We're recruiting for an experienced Mobile HGV / PSV Technician to join a professional Service Market Team based in Coventry, with UK-wide travel. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled technician who enjoys a varied role combining hands-on technical work, diagnostics, customer support and nationwide travel. You'll work closely with dealerships and service partners, providing technical support and carrying out inspections, repairs and rectification work across a wide range of commercial vehicles.

The Role

As a Mobile HGV / PSV Technician, your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out pre-delivery inspections (PDIs) to manufacturer standards.
• Diagnosing, repairing and maintaining HGV and PSV vehicles.
• Providing technical support and guidance to dealerships and service partners.
• Carrying out technical investigations and field-based rectification work.
• Inspecting and preparing used vehicles to required quality standards.
• Installing additional vehicle equipment, including CCTV, USB charging points and vehicle monitors.
• Supporting customers and service teams with technical issues.
• Travelling nationwide to complete inspections, repairs and technical support.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.

About You

We're looking for an experienced HGV Technician / PSV Technician / Commercial Vehicle Technician with:

• NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent.
• Proven experience within the HGV or PSV industry.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Good mechanical and electrical knowledge.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• A professional and customer-focused approach.
• A full UK driving licence.
• PSV licence desirable but not essential.
• Flexibility to travel throughout the UK.
