Mobile HGV Technician
Location: East London / Purfleet (Field Based)
Salary: 45,000 Basic + 1,500 Joining Bonus + Overtime
Working Hours: Monday to Friday Days (No Weekends)

We are recruiting for an experienced Mobile HGV Technician to join a leading commercial vehicle fleet business covering East London, Purfleet and the surrounding areas . The role is primarily field-based, attending customer sites to diagnose, service and repair commercial vehicles, with the flexibility to work from the workshop when required.

Mobile HGV Technician Role
- Diagnose, service and repair a wide range of HGVs and commercial vehicles.
- Carry out inspections, maintenance and fault finding to manufacturer standards.
- Prepare commercial vehicles for MOT testing.
- Ensure all vehicles comply with safety and legal requirements.
- Work on a fleet including Mercedes-Benz, Iveco and Ford commercial vehicles.
- Complete all paperwork accurately and maintain high standards of workmanship.
- Provide excellent customer service whilst working independently in the field.
Mobile HGV Technician Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent City & Guilds / recognised apprenticeship).
- Previous experience working as an HGV Technician.
- Full UK Class 2 (Category C or CE) driving licence.
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- Able to pass employment vetting, including financial and criminal record checks.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
