This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established commercial plant business offering a £47,840 basic salary, realistic OTE of £60,(Apply online only) and overtime paid at time and a half. You will work on a wide range of modern construction and plant machinery, carrying out servicing, diagnostics, preventative maintenance and repairs at customer sites and in the workshop. The role would suit an experienced Plant Fitter, Mobile Plant Engineer, Agricultural Engineer, Heavy Plant Technician or Construction Equipment Engineer looking for strong earning potential, manufacturer training and long-term career progression. What You'll Be Doing As a Mobile Plant Fitter / Plant Engineer, your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Servicing, maintaining and repairing construction plant and heavy machinery Diagnosing mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults Carrying out planned preventative maintenance Attending customer sites to complete mobile repairs and breakdowns Carrying out Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) Setting up and installing plant attachments Completing inspections in line with manufacturer service schedules Carrying out fault finding and identifying effective repair solutions Completing job cards, service reports and warranty paperwork Maintaining tools, equipment and stock within your company service vehicle Working xwwtmva closely with customers, workshop teams and the sales department Ensuring all repairs are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard The Machinery You will work on a variety of construction and mobile plant equipment, which may include: Excavators Dumpers Rollers Telehandlers Loaders Attachments Heavy construction equipment Experience across all types of machinery is not essential.
