M Pro Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced Mobile Plant Engineer to join a growing business supporting some of the UK's leading infrastructure, utilities and fleet operators.
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking for a varied field-based role with ongoing manufacturer training, excellent earning potential and genuine career progression.
The Role
As a Mobile Plant Engineer, you'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, diagnosing and repairing a wide range of plant and associated equipment at customer sites across the Birmingham area.
Key Responsibilities
* Service, maintain and repair a wide range of plant equipment.
* Diagnose hydraulic, mechanical and electrical faults.
* Carry out planned maintenance and emergency breakdown repairs.
* Complete inspections and ensure all work is completed to a high standard.
* Maintain accurate service records.
* Work safely and in line with Health & Safety procedures.
About You
Ideally you'll have:
* Experience servicing and repairing plant equipment.
* Good hydraulic, mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
* Knowledge of pumps and/or generators would be highly advantageous.
* NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Plant Maintenance (preferred).
* LOLER certification is desirable but training can be provided.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
* Own tools (specialist tools supplied).
