About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver inspiring and challenging lessons in French and Spanish across various key stages, from beginner to advanced levels.
• Develop engaging curriculum materials, including schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments.
• Promote a love for languages and intercultural understanding among students.
• Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and implement strategies for improvement.
• Collaborate with colleagues in the Modern Languages department and contribute to whole-school initiatives.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognized teaching qualification.
• Fluency in both French and Spanish, with a strong academic background in linguistics or related fields.
• Proven experience teaching modern languages at the secondary level.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
