About the Role
Our client is seeking a knowledgeable and customer-centric Mortgage Advisor to join their expanding team, operating remotely to serve clients across the UK, with a base in Southampton . You will guide clients through the mortgage application process, identifying suitable products from a diverse panel of lenders and ensuring a smooth, compliant journey. This role offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to provide expert advice and support from the comfort of your home office, while still being part of a collaborative and supportive financial services company.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise clients on mortgage options, explaining complex financial products clearly and concisely.
- Assess client needs and financial circumstances to recommend appropriate mortgage solutions.
- Process mortgage applications accurately and efficiently, liaising with lenders and third parties.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including FCA guidelines, and maintain detailed records.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional service throughout the application process.
- Stay up-to-date with market trends, lender criteria, and product developments in the mortgage industry.
Requirements
- CeMAP qualification (or equivalent recognized mortgage advisory qualification).
- Proven experience working as a Mortgage Advisor or in a similar financial advisory role.
- In-depth knowledge of the UK mortgage market, regulations, and lending criteria.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a high volume of applications remotely.
- Proficiency with mortgage sourcing software and CRM systems.
