About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Mortgage Advisor to join their expanding team in Brighton . This role is central to assisting clients in navigating the complexities of the mortgage market, helping them secure the most suitable home loans. You will provide expert advice, assess client financial situations, and guide them through the application process, working within the broader financial services sector of the South Coast . The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of mortgage products, and a commitment to delivering outstanding client service, while adhering to regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to understand their financial circumstances and property aspirations.
• Advise clients on a range of mortgage products, explaining features, benefits, and risks.
• Conduct affordability assessments and gather necessary documentation for mortgage applications.
• Liaise with lenders and financial institutions to secure favourable mortgage terms for clients.
• Ensure all advice and recommendations comply with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Maintain accurate client records and follow up to ensure customer satisfaction throughout the mortgage process.

Requirements

• Relevant mortgage advisory qualifications (e.g., CeMAP or equivalent).
• Proven experience as a Mortgage Advisor or in a similar financial advisory role.
• Thorough knowledge of the mortgage market and available products in the UK .
• Understanding of the regulatory environment governing mortgage advice.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
