About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive and knowledgeable Mortgage Advisor to join their dedicated team in Wolverhampton . You will be responsible for guiding clients through the mortgage application process, from initial consultation to final approval, ensuring they find the best mortgage products to suit their needs. This role requires a strong understanding of the mortgage market, excellent client service skills, and the ability to manage a busy caseload effectively. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed fact-finding to understand clients' financial situations and mortgage requirements.
- Advise clients on a range of mortgage products and associated protection policies.
- Source suitable mortgage deals from a variety of lenders, ensuring competitiveness and client suitability.
- Prepare and submit mortgage applications accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain regular communication with clients, lenders, and third parties throughout the process.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies.
Requirements
- Full CeMAP (Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice) qualification or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Mortgage Advisor or in a similar lending or financial advisory role.
- Solid understanding of the mortgage market, lending criteria, and relevant regulations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple applications simultaneously.
- Proficiency in mortgage sourcing systems and CRM software.
