About the Role

You will guide clients through the entire mortgage application process, offering expert advice and sourcing the most suitable products from a wide range of lenders. This role is pivotal in helping individuals and families achieve their homeownership dreams. The ideal candidate possesses strong interpersonal skills, a thorough understanding of the mortgage market, and a commitment to providing exceptional service, working in a hybrid model that blends office-based support with client-facing flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess clients' financial situations and advise on appropriate mortgage products.
• Source and compare mortgage and protection products from various lenders.
• Guide clients through the mortgage application process from start to finish.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met.
• Liaise with lenders, solicitors, and other third parties to facilitate smooth transactions.
• Keep up-to-date with market changes, product developments, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• CeMAP qualification (or equivalent) is essential.
• Proven experience as a Mortgage Advisor or in a similar financial advisory role.
• In-depth knowledge of the mortgage and protection markets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and sales skills.
• Ability to manage a pipeline of clients and meet sales targets effectively.
