About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced and client-focused Mortgage Advisor to join their expanding financial services team in Coventry . This hybrid role involves guiding clients through the mortgage application process, from initial consultation to final approval, ensuring they find the best financial solutions tailored to their needs. Key Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to assess their financial situation, borrowing needs, and eligibility for various mortgage products.
• Advise clients on the most suitable mortgage options, explaining terms, interest rates, and repayment structures.
• Prepare and submit mortgage applications, gathering all necessary documentation and liaising with lenders.
• Stay updated on market trends, regulatory changes, and new mortgage products to provide accurate advice.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and referral partners.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Mortgage Advisor or in a similar financial advisory role.
• Knowledge of mortgage products, the lending industry , and relevant regulations (e.g., CML).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage a caseload effectively and meet sales targets.
• Relevant certifications such as CeMAP or equivalent are highly desirable.
