About the Role

Our client is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Mortgage Advisor to join their team in Derby . This role involves guiding clients through the mortgage application process, assessing their financial needs, and recommending suitable mortgage products from a range of lenders. You will play a key role in helping individuals and families achieve their homeownership dreams. This position offers a hybrid working model, providing a blend of client-facing activities in the office and administrative tasks remotely, ensuring a dynamic and flexible work experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed mortgage needs assessments with prospective clients.
• Advise clients on suitable mortgage products, explaining terms, conditions, and costs clearly.
• Assist clients in completing mortgage applications accurately and efficiently.
• Liaise with lenders, estate agents, and other stakeholders to facilitate the mortgage process.
• Stay up-to-date with market trends, lender policies, and regulatory changes in the mortgage industry.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to foster repeat business and referrals.

Requirements

• CeMAP qualification or equivalent recognized mortgage advice certification.
• Proven experience as a Mortgage Advisor or in a similar financial advisory role.
• Strong understanding of the mortgage market, products, and regulations.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage a caseload and meet sales targets.
• Proficiency in mortgage origination software and CRM systems.
