This role involves guiding clients through the mortgage application process, from initial consultation to completion, ensuring they find the most suitable financial products. You will build strong relationships with clients, understand their financial goals, and provide expert advice on a range of mortgage and protection options. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed fact-finding with clients to understand their financial situation and borrowing needs.
- Advise clients on suitable mortgage products and associated protection policies.
- Research and compare mortgage deals from various lenders to find the best fit.
- Assist clients in completing mortgage applications accurately and efficiently.
- Liaise with lenders, solicitors, and estate agents to ensure smooth transaction progression.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the mortgage market and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- CeMAP qualification (or equivalent) is essential.
- Proven experience as a Mortgage Advisor or in a similar financial advisory role.
- In-depth knowledge of the mortgage and protection markets.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and sales skills.
- Strong customer service ethos and commitment to ethical conduct.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
