Motor Assembly Operative

Motor Assembly Operative (Permanent Role) Based in Bradford Hours: Monday to Thursday - 7am to 3.30pm & Friday 6am to 2.30pm (40 hours a week) £28,080 (increase after probation) We are looking for a reliable, hands-on Motor Assembly Operative to join a busy engineering workshop based in Bradford.

The role involves stripping down, cleaning, inspecting, and rebuilding hydraulic motors, pumps and other mechanical components.

This position would suit someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work, has a mechanical mindset and is keen to develop their skills within an engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Strip down and rebuild hydraulic motors, pumps, and components.

• Clean and inspect parts for wear and damage.

• Assemble components using hand tools and workshop equipment.

• Follow instructions to ensure work is completed accurately.

• Identify and report any faults or damaged components.

• Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment.

• Assist with other general workshop duties when required.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in a workshop, manufacturing or mechanical assembly environment would be advantageous.

• Confident using basic hand tools.

• Good attention to detail.

• A practical, hands-on approach to work.

• Reliable, hardworking and willing to learn.

• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Previous hydraulic experience would be beneficial but is not essential. Full training can be provided to the right candidate, subject to the employer's agreement
