Motor Vehicle Lecturer - Body & Paint An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Motor Vehicle Lecturer specialising in Body & Paint to join a Further Education college in Greater Manchester.

Eden Brown are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable automotive professional who can deliver high-quality teaching and practical training, helping students develop the technical skills and industry knowledge required for successful careers within the motor vehicle body repair and paint sector.

The Role

As a Motor Vehicle Lecturer - Body & Paint, you will:

• Deliver engaging theory and practical sessions covering vehicle body repair and paint.
• Plan and prepare lessons, practical activities and learning resources.
• Assess learners practical skills, knowledge and progress.
• Provide constructive feedback and support learners to achieve their qualifications.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety within the workshop.
• Keep accurate records of learner progress and assessment.
• Support students with their personal and professional development.
• Keep up to date with current industry techniques, technology and standards.

About You

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• Strong industry experience in motor vehicle body repair and/or paint.
• Relevant technical qualifications and industry experience.
• Excellent practical knowledge and the ability to demonstrate body and paint repair techniques.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine passion for developing the next generation of automotive professionals.
• The ability to engage and motivate learners of varying abilities.
• A commitment to safeguarding and providing an excellent learner experience.
• Previous teaching or Further Education experience is desirable, but candidates with strong industry experience who are looking to move into teaching are encouraged to apply.

A DBS is also needed for this role.
