Multi-Drop Delivery Driver

About the Role

Our client is seeking a diligent and efficient Multi-Drop Delivery Driver to join their team in Reading . This role involves the timely and accurate delivery of packages to a high volume of customers throughout the Berkshire area. You will be responsible for managing your route effectively, ensuring all deliveries are made safely and with excellent customer service. The successful candidate will be a reliable individual with a good knowledge of local routes and a commitment to upholding the company's reputation for dependability. Key Responsibilities

• Execute a varied schedule of multi-drop deliveries to residential and commercial addresses.
• Load and unload packages securely, verifying quantities against delivery manifests.
• Navigate efficiently through the Reading area and surrounding towns, optimising delivery routes.
• Provide a friendly and professional service to all customers, addressing any delivery queries.
• Maintain the assigned vehicle in a clean and orderly condition, reporting any maintenance needs.
• Accurately complete delivery confirmation records and report any issues encountered during the day.

Requirements

• A clean UK driving licence (Category B).
• Previous experience as a multi-drop delivery driver is highly desirable.
• Excellent knowledge of the road network in and around Reading and Berkshire.
• Physical ability to handle frequent loading and unloading of goods.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
