Van Driver
Leicester (Beaumont Leys)
BE Recruitment are currently working with a leading home products retailer based in the Beaumont Leys area of Leicester. We are looking to recruit experienced Van Drivers to join their growing team on an ongoing basis.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established company with the potential for long-term work for the right candidates.
Working as part of a two-person delivery team, you will be responsible for delivering and, where required, installing household appliances into customers' homes. All new drivers supplied by BE Recruitment will initially work alongside an experienced full-time driver to ensure a smooth introduction to the role.
The operation is based in Leicester, with deliveries made throughout the Midlands and surrounding areas. The number of deliveries will vary depending on the day's route.
Duties include:
Monday to Friday
Start times between 4:00am and 6:00am
Delivering household appliances to residential properties
Providing excellent customer service at every delivery
Unloading goods at the customer's property
Working as part of a two-person crew
Assisting with the installation of appliances where required
12-14 hour shifts
Approximately 14-20 deliveries per day
Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year's van driving experience
Previous multi-drop delivery experience
Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
No DD, DR, TT or IN10 endorsements
Physically fit due to the nature of the role
Excellent customer service skills and a professional attitude
Pay & Benefits:
£12.71 per hour
