At our Enfield site, you’ll join around 500 colleagues and work across 5 operating plants – all within a culture that values teamwork, development, and innovation.Whether you’re an experienced mechanical or electrical Engineer, now is a great time to join a business that’s thriving, evolving, and investing in the future.The RecipeOur Multi Skilled Engineers work in shift teams in close conjunction with production, safety and hygiene. The team undertake planned and preventative maintenance and are encouraged to use their engineering skills and experience to develop robust solutions and long-term fixes. There's a huge variety of tasks that will range from general plant maintenance to improving plant reliability and diagnosing problems before they develop.Key Accountabilities and MeasuresYou’ll ensure daily preventative maintenance activities are completed to a high standard, breakdowns are resolved quickly and efficiently to maximise plant reliability, performance, product quality and safety.Drive improvements in asset reliability and reduce lossesEffective use of SAP PMEnsure plant and personnel (including external contractors) conform to Health and Safety legislation, policy and standardsEssential IngredientsElectrical and Mechanical engineering experienceFault Finding and Route Cause Analysis skillsStructured and practical engineering training (e.g. apprenticeship/HNC/degree).Knowledge and experience of maintenance preferably in an FMCG or manufacturing environment.H&S knowledge e.g., PUWER, IOSH – able to ensure a safe working environment.Analysing and problem-solving skills, anticipates problems before they occur and takes steps to deal with themExtra DoughHere's some of the benefits that you can enjoy!
