Multi-Skilled Engineer
Salary: c.£55,000 + overtime + benefits Shift Pattern: 12 hours, rotating days and nights
Commutable from: King's Lynn, Downham Market, Wisbech, Swaffham, Fakenham, Long Sutton
Our client is a well-established food manufacturing business based in King's Lynn, supplying major retailers across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are looking to add a Multi-Skilled Engineer to their engineering team.
The Role
Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across a range of high-speed production and packaging equipment
Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical breakdowns, minimising downtime
Work closely with production and engineering teams to support continuous improvement
Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with food safety standards
Maintain accurate maintenance records via the site's CMMS system
What We're Looking For
A recognised engineering qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent apprenticeship)
Multi-skilled engineering background, with solid mechanical and electrical fault-finding experience
Experience within FMCG, food manufacturing, or a similarly fast-paced production environment
Willingness to work a 12-hour rotating shift pattern, covering both days and nights
A proactive, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving skills
