Role OverviewA long‑standing M&E maintenance company with over 35 years’ experience servicing commercial premises across central London is seeking an experienced multi‑skilled maintenance engineer to join their established team of 12. This is a stable, hands‑on role covering a balanced mix of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive callouts across a variety of commercial sites.

Key Responsibilities

PPM tasks across commercial buildings, ensuring compliance and smooth operation of building systems.

Reactive callouts for general plumbing, heating, HVAC, electrical and alarm systems.

Diagnosing, repairing and maintaining a wide range of M&E equipment.

Providing professional, customer‑focused service on client sites.

Working collaboratively with the wider engineering team to ensure efficient coverage and high‑quality service delivery.

Maintaining accurate job records and reporting through company systems.

Candidate Profile Strong general M&E knowledge within commercial environments is essential.

Comfortable working across multiple disciplines (plumbing, heating, HVAC, electrical, alarms).

Specific trade qualifications are not essential – capability, confidence and competence across general maintenance tasks are key.

Professional, personable and able to represent the company positively on client sites.

A reliable team player with good communication skills.

Based within easy travel distance to London (typically 4 days per week in the city).

Full UK driving licence required.

Package & Benefits Salary £36,000–£40,000 depending on experience.
