Tuesday to Saturday 14:00 - 23:30

Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Opportunity

An excellent opportunity has arisen for multiple Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineers to join one of the UK's leading food manufacturers. This role would suit either an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, or a genuinely Multi-Skilled Engineer with experience within FMCG, food manufacturing, packaging, automated warehousing, logistics, or production environments. Working within a fast-paced manufacturing facility, you will be responsible for planned preventative maintenance, breakdown response, fault finding, and continuous improvement activities across a range of production and packaging equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) Reactive maintenance and breakdown repairs Electrical and mechanical fault finding PLC fault finding Working with inverters and control panels Maintenance of production and packaging machinery Working on conveyors, pumps, motors, bearings, and gearboxes Continuous improvement projects Root cause analysis Reducing downtime and improving equipment reliability Ensuring Health & Safety standards are maintained

Skills & Experience Required

NVQ Level 3 Engineering qualification or equivalent Maintenance engineering experience within manufacturing Electrical, Mechanical, or Multi-Skilled background Strong fault-finding skills Experience working on production machinery PLC fault-finding experience advantageous Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics
