Job Description
Questech Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business for an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team.
Location: Leeds, LS10
Salary: Around £40,000 (DOE)
Hours: Monday to Friday | 8:00am – 5:00pm
This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy manufacturing site, working days only and supporting the maintenance and reliability of production machinery.
The Person
- NVQ Level 3 qualified or Apprentice Trained in Engineering
- Previous experience working as a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
- Manufacturing or industrial maintenance background
- Confident carrying out both electrical and mechanical maintenance
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
The Role
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Respond to machine breakdowns and complete reactive repairs
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults on manufacturing equipment
- Ensure machinery is operating safely and efficiently
- Complete maintenance records and associated paperwork
- Work closely with production to minimise downtime
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across site
