Multi Trade Operative

Join a well-established housing association on a permanent contract as a Multi Trade Operative, working on responsive repairs across occupied properties in Hemel Hempstead.

I'd love to hear from anyone with a Plumbing or Carpentry bias who can also carry out general multi-trade repairs.

The Multi Trade Operative role is offering:

• Permanent, secure employment
• Company van and fuel card
• 28 days annual leave including bank holidays
• Monday-Friday, 08:00-16:30 core hours
• Tools, uniform, iPad, mobile phone and PPE provided
• Bonus scheme

As a Multi Trade Operative, you will be:

• Carrying out responsive repairs in occupied properties
• Working with either a Plumbing or Carpentry bias
• Completing 2nd fix joinery
• Carrying out 2nd fix plumbing
• Completing patch plastering and tiling
• Carrying out remedial brickwork
• Completing general multi-trade repairs
• Providing a professional service to residents

I'd love to speak to anyone who has:

• An NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds qualification in Plumbing or Carpentry
• Previous experience in social housing or responsive repairs
• Strong skills in either plumbing or carpentry
• Experience carrying out general multi-trade repairs
• Experience with 2nd fix joinery, 2nd fix plumbing, plastering, tiling or brickwork
• A full UK driving licence

Location & travel This role is based in Hemel Hempstead, working across occupied properties within the local area. A company van and fuel card are provided.
