About the Role

At Wates Property Services, we have a fantastic opportunity for a Multi Trader to join our responsive maintenance team in Derbyshire, delivering essential repairs within social housing properties.

You'll be a key part of our front-line team, ensuring residents receive a high-quality, efficient service and that repairs are completed right first time.

What You'll Be Doing

• Carrying out repairs and renewals across multiple trades (carpentry, plumbing, plastering, tiling)
• Diagnosing faults and delivering first-time fixes wherever possible
• Working efficiently to meet productivity and service targets
• Completing job sheets and accurately reporting work carried out
• Liaising with supervisors and schedulers for follow-on works
• Providing excellent customer service to residents
• Working in line with health & safety and company standards at all times

What We're Looking For

• NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in a relevant trade
• Full UK driving licence
• Proven experience in social housing or responsive maintenance
• Ability to carry out multi-trade work to a high standard
• Strong problem-solving skills with a \"right first time\" approach
• Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude

Desirable

• Experience across multiple trades
• Experience using PDAs or job management systems
