Frontline Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced and reliable Multi-Trade Operative to join a growing team based in Leicester. Working primarily within the social housing sector, this is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson to carry out a variety of maintenance, repair, and refurbishment works across occupied and void properties while delivering high-quality workmanship and exceptional customer service.

THE ROLE

• Carrying out mould treatment and prevention works within occupied properties.
• Completing full bathroom installations, including plumbing, tiling, and finishing works.
• Undertaking kitchen installations, including fitting units, worktops, and associated trade work.
• Refurbishing void properties to meet lettable standards.
• Carrying out painting and decorating to a high standard.
• Completing general multi-trade repairs, including:
• Basic carpentry
• Plumbing
• Patch plastering
• Diagnosing and resolving maintenance issues efficiently and effectively.
• Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Maintaining clean, safe, and organised work areas.
• Providing excellent customer service while communicating professionally with tenants, clients, and colleagues.

THE REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience as a Multi-Trade Operative within the social housing sector or a similar environment.
• Strong practical skills across multiple trades, including carpentry, plumbing, tiling, and decorating.
• Experience carrying out mould treatment and damp-related repairs (desirable).
• Ability to work independently and effectively manage workloads.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence (essential).
• Reliable, proactive, and capable of delivering work to a consistently high standard.
