Location: Redhill & Surrounding Areas Salary: £36,000 per annum Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week Benefits: Company Van & Fuel Card | 35 Days’ Holiday | Excellent Pension A well-established housing provider is looking for an experienced Multi Trade Operative to join its maintenance team, working across void properties in Redhill and the surrounding areas. This is a hands-on, multi-skilled role focused on bringing empty properties back up to a high standard and ready for re-letting. The ideal candidate will be confident carrying out a range of carpentry, plumbing and property refurbishment works, with experience in kitchen and bathroom fitting highly desirable.

The Role

Working as part of a skilled voids team, you will be responsible for completing a variety of maintenance and refurbishment works, including:

• Carpentry and general joinery repairs
• Plumbing repairs and installations
• Kitchen fitting and refurbishment
• Bathroom fitting and refurbishment
• Door, frame and ironmongery repairs
• Tiling and flooring
• Painting and decorating
• Patch plastering and making good
• General property maintenance and finishing works
• Preparing empty homes to a high standard ready for re-let
• Working safely and professionally in line with company procedures Required
• Proven experience as a Multi Trade Operative within housing maintenance, property refurbishment or a similar environment
• Strong carpentry and plumbing skills
• Experience of kitchen and bathroom fitting
• Additional skills in painting and decorating, patch plastering, tiling or flooring would be highly advantageous
• Previous experience working in social housing, private housing or void properties xwwtmva * Ability to work independently and manage a daily workload
• Good customer service and communication skills
• Professional and presentable approach
• Full UK driving licence with no more than 3 points
