Multimedia Developer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and innovative Multimedia Developer to join their team on a contract basis, working remotely from Belfast and beyond. This role is focused on creating engaging and interactive multimedia content, including animations, videos, and web-based applications, for various communication and training initiatives. You will be responsible for the end-to-end development of multimedia assets, from conceptualization and storyboarding through to final production and delivery. This is a unique opportunity for a self-starter to contribute to impactful projects with a high degree of autonomy and creative input.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality multimedia content, including animated explainers, video edits, and interactive presentations.
• Design and produce engaging visual elements, graphics, and user interfaces for digital platforms.
• Utilize various software and tools to create and edit video, audio, and animation assets.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and project managers to define content requirements and ensure accuracy.
• Manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring timely completion of multimedia projects.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to multimedia production and deployment.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Multimedia Developer or similar role, with a strong portfolio of work.
• Proficiency in multimedia creation tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop), and potentially authoring tools like Articulate Storyline or Adobe Captivate.
• Solid understanding of animation principles and visual design best practices.
• Experience with video editing, audio mixing, and graphic design.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, comfortable working remotely.
