We are seeking a Multiskilled Electrical Engineer to join a global leader in real estate and facilities management in Birmingham.
Job Title: Multi Skilled Electrical Engineer
Location: Birmingham City Centre
Role Purpose:
Carry out planned preventative maintenance, reactive works on building equipment and systems, undertake small installations, and respond to engineering emergencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance on electrical/mechanical systems per service agreements.
- Conduct reactive repairs, calling sub-contractors as needed.
- Complete PPM maintenance and report defects.
- Update weekly equipment status reports.
- Monitor sub-contractor performance and ensure work is completed correctly.
- Sign off completed tasks via PDA in a timely manner.
- Maintain a good relationship with client representatives.
- Ensure a safe and compliant working environment.
- Accurately maintain site logs and paperwork.
- Participate in call-out rota if applicable.
Requirements:
- Recognised Electrical Qualification
- C&G 18th Edition in Electrical Installations
- C&G Test and Inspection
- Knowledge of building electrical systems and PPM regimes
- Familiarity with BS standards for electrical systems
- Experience with health and safety and electrical systems management
