Multiskilled Engineer (Electrical Biased)

Multiskilled (Electrical) Engineer | Kirkham

We are looking for an experienced Electrical biased Multiskilled Engineer to join a a leading UK manufacturer of Vitamins, Minerals & Supplements to health food stores, pharmacies, and groceries.

Responsibilities:

• Liaise with the Engineering Manager on a daily basis to ensure machine 'down time' is kept to a minimum.
• Identify and solve day to day maintenance problems.
• Perform PPM (planned preventative maintenance) schedules as required.
• Accurately create and update relevant SOP's as necessary.
• Carry out maintenance activities on buildings, plant, and facilities to improve quality and cost effectiveness.
• This list is not exhaustive and you will be expected to carry out additional duties where reasonable.

Requirements:

• Time served engineer / recognised electrical engineering trade apprenticeship and/or HNC in electrical engineering.
• At least 2 years' electrical experience within the FMCG sector.
• Experience and a good understanding of PLCs, fault finding, 3 phase, DC motors, relays, contractors, sensors, and drives.
• GMP experience
