£50,000 | Double Days | Monday-Friday

Shifts: 🕖 7:00am - 4:00pm 🕑 2:00pm - 10:00pm

We are currently recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a busy manufacturing business based in the Wednesbury area.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced engineer looking to join an established business, working on a range of production machinery and supporting the site with both planned and reactive maintenance.

The Role

As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for keeping production machinery and equipment running efficiently, carrying out preventative maintenance and responding to breakdowns when required.

Your responsibilities will include:

Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)

Responding to and diagnosing mechanical and electrical breakdowns

Fault finding and repairing production machinery

Supporting continuous improvement and reducing machinery downtime

Installation, modification and improvement of machinery and equipment

Maintaining accurate maintenance records

Working closely with the production team to minimise downtime

Ensuring all maintenance activities are completed safely and efficiently

The Person

The successful candidate will ideally have:

Previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing environment

Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills

A recognised engineering qualification such as NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds / apprenticeship

Experience working with production machinery

The ability to work independently and as part of a wider engineering team

A proactive approach to preventative maintenance and continuous improvement

Package

£50,000 basic salary

Double-day shift pattern

7:00am - 4:00pm / 2:00pm - 10:00pm

Monday-Friday
