- Salary: Flexible £50,000 - £55,000 plus bonus

- Panama shift pattern: 12‑hour shifts covering a 7‑day rotation:
Always starting on a Mon, Wed, or Fri.Mon, Tue day – Wed, Thu night – 5 days off.Wed, Thu day – Fri, Sat, Sun night – 4 days off.Fri, Sat, Sun day – Mon, Tue night – 5 days off.
My client is an established manufacturing company with over 50 years of experience. They are seeking an experienced engineer to make an instant impact and contribute to growth through commitment and dedication.
Your Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities
- You’ll play a key part in keeping operations running smoothly – maintaining, repairing, and improving equipment to ensure safe and efficient production.
- Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance.
- Troubleshoot and repair production and utility equipment.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and provide technical expertise to enhance productivity.
- Support new machinery installations.
- Keep accurate maintenance records.
- Champion safety and continuous improvement (BOPEX).
About You
- Experience in industrial maintenance (e.g., pneumatics, hydraulics).
- Qualifications to NVQ level 3 (or equivalent, ONC mechanical/electrical engineering, BTEC level 3 in mechanical & electrical/electronic engineering).
- IEE qualification up to 17th edition wiring regulations would be advantageous.
- Familiarity with safety protocols (LOTO, ATEX/DSEAR, etc.).
