About the Role

Our client is seeking a reliable and engaging Nanny to provide after-school care for their children in the Southampton area. This position involves collecting children from school, supervising homework, organising engaging activities, and preparing light snacks. We are looking for someone who can create a fun, safe, and nurturing environment until parents return. The ideal candidate will be proactive, responsible, and have a genuine enjoyment of working with children, becoming a trusted member of the family's support network during the crucial after-school hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect children from school promptly and ensure their safe arrival home.
• Assist children with homework and provide support for their academic development.
• Plan and engage children in stimulating and age-appropriate activities (e.g., games, crafts, outdoor play).
• Prepare healthy and simple snacks or light meals for the children.
• Ensure children's safety and well-being at all times, maintaining open communication with parents.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a nanny, babysitter, or in a similar childcare role.
• A warm, friendly, and responsible personality with a genuine passion for children.
• Ability to engage children in positive and developmental activities.
• Good communication skills and reliability are essential.
• Must have a valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle is advantageous.
