Nanny / Childcare Provider

About the Role

Our client seeks a reliable, experienced, and caring Nanny / Childcare Provider to care for their two young children in Portsmouth . The role involves providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment, assisting with daily routines, preparing healthy meals, and engaging the children in age-appropriate activities. The ideal candidate will be proactive, have a genuine love for children, and possess excellent communication skills. Key Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and safe care for two children, aged 3 and 5 years.
• Plan and implement engaging daily activities, including indoor and outdoor play, educational games, and creative arts.
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for the children, accommodating any allergies or dietary preferences.
• Assist with children's daily routines, such as dressing, bathing, and bedtime.
• Maintain a clean and tidy play area and children's rooms.
• Transport children to and from school or extracurricular activities as needed.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a nanny or in a similar childcare role, with excellent references.
• Solid understanding of child development milestones and age-appropriate activities.
• First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Ability to cook healthy meals for children.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm and patient demeanor.
