About the Role

Our client is seeking a reliable and caring Nanny to provide support for a family in Edinburgh . This hybrid role will involve a mix of direct childcare responsibilities at the family's home and potentially some remote administrative tasks related to children's schedules or educational planning. You will be responsible for the daily care of children, including meal preparation, engaging in age-appropriate activities, and ensuring their safety and well-being. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, organised, and possess a genuine love for children, able to manage a flexible schedule that balances hands-on care with remote support duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and nurturing care for children, ensuring their safety and developmental needs are met.
• Plan and engage children in stimulating indoor and outdoor activities, promoting learning through play.
• Prepare healthy and balanced meals and snacks for the children.
• Assist with homework and educational activities, providing support as needed.
• Manage children's schedules and potentially assist with remote organisational tasks, such as scheduling appointments or coordinating activities.

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Nanny or in a similar childcare role.
• Excellent understanding of child development and age-appropriate care practices.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask.
• Good communication skills, both in person and virtually.
• Flexibility to adapt to a hybrid working model and changing family needs.
