Nanny - Full-Time

About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Nanny to provide full-time care for their two young children (ages 3 and 5) in Sunderland . This position involves creating a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment where the children can grow and thrive. You will be responsible for organising age-appropriate activities, supporting their educational development, managing daily routines including meals and naps, and ensuring their overall well-being. The role requires someone who is energetic, patient, and has a genuine passion for childcare, capable of building a strong, trusting relationship with the children and their parents, while managing household tasks related to the children.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and implement engaging daily activities, including educational games, crafts, and outings.
• Provide attentive supervision and ensure the safety and well-being of the children at all times.
• Prepare healthy and balanced meals and snacks for the children.
• Assist with children's bedtime routines and ensure they are settled.
• Manage children's laundry and tidiness of their rooms and play areas.
• Communicate regularly with parents about the children's day, development, and any concerns.

Requirements

• Previous professional nanny or childcare experience with excellent references.
• Strong knowledge of child development for ages 3-5.
• First Aid certification (e.g., Paediatric First Aid).
• Ability to drive and a clean driving license.
• Patience, reliability, and a warm, engaging personality.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
