Nanny (Live-out)

About the Role

Our client is seeking a reliable, experienced, and caring Nanny to provide full-time care for their two young children (ages 3 and 6) in Southampton . This is a live-out position requiring dedication to creating a nurturing, stimulating, and safe environment for the children. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organised, and capable of managing daily routines including school pick-ups, engaging activities, meal preparation, and light household duties related to the children. A genuine passion for childcare and a commitment to fostering positive development are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and engaging care for two children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
• Manage daily routines, including school runs, playtime, educational activities, and meal times.
• Prepare nutritious and balanced meals and snacks for the children.
• Organise age-appropriate indoor and outdoor activities to promote physical, cognitive, and social development.
• Maintain a tidy and safe living environment for the children, including tidying play areas and children's bedrooms.

Requirements

• Previous professional experience as a nanny or in a similar childcare role, with excellent references.
• Up-to-date paediatric first aid certification.
• A clear understanding of child development milestones and age-appropriate care.
• Ability to plan engaging activities and maintain a structured routine.
• Excellent communication skills, reliability, and a patient, warm demeanour.
