Nanny - Private Household Childcare

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and trustworthy Nanny to provide dedicated care for their children in their family home in Sunderland . Key Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and loving care for children, meeting all their daily needs including feeding, bathing, and dressing.
• Plan and organize engaging age-appropriate activities, outings, and educational play to support children's development.
• Ensure a safe and secure environment at all times, adhering to household safety rules and child protection guidelines.
• Manage children's schedules, including school runs, extracurricular activities, and bedtime routines.
• Prepare healthy and nutritious meals and snacks for the children.
• Communicate effectively with the parents regarding the children's progress, behaviour, and any concerns.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Nanny or in a similar childcare role with excellent references.
• A recognized childcare qualification (e.g., CACHE, NVQ) or equivalent experience.
• Current Paediatric First Aid certificate and a clean DBS check.
• Deep understanding of child development stages and best practices in childcare.
• Excellent organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to be discreet, reliable, and maintain the privacy of the family.
